The Near North End is an historic part of Colorado Springs. Our neighborhood encompasses a wide range of local businesses, historic buildings, and residential properties.  Boundaries of the Near North End Neighborhood are North: E. Cache La Poudre Street; South: E. Bijou Street; East: Alley at Wahsatch & Corona; and West:  Monument Valley Park

Historic Buildings

There are several properties in the Near North End that are included in either the state or national register of historic places, including First Congregational Church, Grace and St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church, Hagerman Mansion, and Burgess House. Monument Valley Park, which forms a central anchor for our community, was gifted to the city by General William Palmer in 1907.
